Rescues in Richmond II is a collection of portraits celebrating more than 200 of Richmond, Virginia’s, rescue animals. Featured creatures include museum and shop cats; sibling dogs rescued years apart; donkeys, horses, chickens, and pigs living tranquil lives; a sociable turtle; a dog with a silver tooth; and an internationally known cat on a mission to get healthy.
Profits will be donated to Richmond Animal Care & Control (RACC) Foundation, which provides funding to Richmond’s only open-admission shelter for life-saving medical treatment. The first volume of Rescues in Richmond raised $7,000 for RACC Foundation in two print runs (the first volume has sold out twice - preorders for a new print run are open now too!).
