Richmond, Virginia served as Edgar Allan Poe’s home for many years throughout his life. The River City is where he penned his first poems, became engaged, began his career in journalism, got married, and wrote his only novel. While all of his homes in the city have been torn down, Poe’s legacy here is remembered and celebrated through several key places.
Historic landmarks such as Linden Row Inn, St. John's Church, and the Poe Museum are highlighted etched into this commemorative 11 oz whiskey glass using a revised illustration by Mary E. Phillips from 1926.
