Found as a stray kitten just behind the Poe Shrine, Edgar has spent over a decade living in the museum. He shares his name with the famous writer, Edgar Allan Poe.

Edgar takes his job very seriously as the Poe Museum’s Head of Security. Don’t be fooled by his sunbathing in the garden - he’s keeping a watchful eye on any birds trying to sneak in.
