In 1909, the Bronx Society of Arts and Sciences commissioned a bust of Edgar Allan Poe in celebration of his 100th birthday. The bust was sculpted by Edmond Thomas Quinn, an artist renowned for his mastery over subtle expressions. The original plaster model of the bust was donated to the Poe Museum in 1931 where it has resided ever since. Our miniature replica captures the melancholy of the famous writer in a 6'' model made from crushed-stone resin.
